Y.Kuroki, the Cyclayer operator (hereinafter referred to as "the Operator") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the web application "Cyclayer" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").
1. Categories of Information Collected and Used
The Service handles information according to its nature as described below. Please note that at this time (Beta version), the Service does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, addresses, or phone numbers.
(1) Information Stored on Servers
The following information is stored on servers (Firebase) for user identification and service maintenance:
- Authentication Information: Anonymous user identifier (UID) issued by Firebase Auth
- Usage Data: The following information may be collected for the purpose of improving service quality:
- Metadata of loaded videos (file size, resolution, recording device/camera model, etc.)
- In-app settings (overlay items used, output settings, etc.)
- Statistical data (time taken for video export, error logs, etc.)
- Inquiry / Feedback Information: Content voluntarily entered by Users through the inquiry/feedback form
(2) Information Not Sent to Servers
The following information is processed entirely within the User's browser (client-side) and is never transmitted to the Operator's servers. The Operator does not view, store, or provide this information to third parties.
- Video Files: All video loading, editing, and export processes are completed within the User's browser.
- Ride Data (FIT files, etc.): All FIT file analysis is also completed within the User's browser.
- Information included: date/time, location (GPS), speed, cadence, heart rate, power, etc.
(3) Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses cookies and browser local storage for usage analysis and authentication information retention. Users may disable cookies through their browser settings; however, some features of the Service may become unavailable.
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Service (analysis processing, maintaining user settings, etc.)
- To analyze usage patterns and utilize them for feature improvements and new feature development
- To investigate and respond to defects and errors
- To prevent spam and unauthorized access, and to ensure security
3. External Transmission and Third-Party Provision
The Service uses the following third-party services for usage analysis and infrastructure provision. As a result, some User information may be transmitted to the companies operating these services.
- Google Firebase (Google Inc.)
- Purpose: User authentication, database storage, hosting, access analysis (Google Analytics for Firebase), statistical data collection
- Google Privacy Policy
- Discord (Discord Inc.)
- Purpose: Notification and management of feedback and inquiries
- Note: Content submitted through the feedback/inquiry form is forwarded to and stored on the Operator's managed Discord server.
- Discord Privacy Policy
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.)
- Purpose: Error monitoring, defect detection, and root cause analysis
- Information transmitted: Error information (error messages, stack traces), browser/OS information, page URL, IP address

4. Information Management
The Operator implements appropriate security measures to prevent leakage and unauthorized access to information.
5. Disclaimer
The Operator bears no responsibility for information or services provided on other sites accessed through links or banners from the Service.
6. Changes to Privacy Policy
The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to Users, except for matters otherwise provided in laws or this Policy. The revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
